D.BER es el alias con el que toco. Soy Juanjo Debernardi, DJ de Bahía Blanca, y encontré en la música electrónica mi terapia y mi pasión. Empecé como hobby hace varios años y hoy ya me presenté en Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata y Monte Hermoso, con sets que buscan emocionar, elevar y hacer vibrar.D.BER is the alias I play under. I'm Juanjo Debernardi, a DJ from Bahía Blanca, and in electronic music I found my therapy and my passion. It started as a hobby several years ago, and I've since played in Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata and Monte Hermoso, with sets that aim to move, lift and make people vibrate.
Me formé en Beatlab — la primera escuela de DJs de Bahía Blanca, de la que hoy soy socio — y construyo cada set en el momento, adaptando el BPM a cada horario y cada pista. Además, estoy desarrollando AVALON, mi propia productora de eventos.I trained at Beatlab — Bahía Blanca's first DJ school, where I'm now a partner — and I build every set in the moment, adapting the BPM to each time slot and each dance floor. I'm also developing AVALON, my own event production company.
Mi sonido se mueve entre el techno y el melodic techno: groove hipnótico, melodías que emocionan y una energía que crece de a poco. Me gusta el techno con alma, que pegue fuerte en la pista sin dejar de ser amigable al oído. Mis raíces en el progressive house y el indie dance aparecen cuando la noche lo pide. Escucho hard techno, pero en cabina me quedo en un techno con groove y melodía.My sound moves between techno and melodic techno: hypnotic grooves, emotional melodies and energy that builds step by step. I like techno with soul — hitting hard on the floor while staying easy on the ear. My roots in progressive house and indie dance come through when the night calls for it. I listen to hard techno, but in the booth I stay with groove and melody.

La primera escuela de DJs de Bahía Blanca con formato integral: niveles inicial, intermedio y avanzado, más cursos de producción. Soy co-founder junto a Ramiro Narvaez y Carolina Molini hace dos años.Bahía Blanca's first full-program DJ school: beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, plus production courses. I co-founded it two years ago with Ramiro Narvaez and Carolina Molini.
AVALON

Antes de cualquier evento me siento a armar el set pensando en el line-up y en el lugar que me toca ocupar esa noche — no es lo mismo abrir, calentar la pista, sostener el momento central o cerrar. Elijo cada track en función de eso, porque respeto el trabajo de mis compañeros de cabina: lo que construyeron antes de que suba yo, y lo que van a construir después.I prepare every gig as if it were the only one. Before any event I sit down and build the set around the line-up and the slot I'm playing that night — opening, warming up the floor, holding the peak or closing are all different jobs. I choose every track with that in mind, because I respect my fellow DJs' work: what they built before I step up, and what they'll build after.
Esa forma de prepararme es mi visión: no busco solo tocar, busco sumar a la experiencia completa de la fiesta. Cada oportunidad de subir a una cabina es un paso más para que más gente conozca mi música y mi forma de entender esto.That way of preparing is my vision: I'm not just there to play, I'm there to add to the whole experience of the night. Every chance to step into a booth is one more step toward more people knowing my music and the way I understand all this.
